Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and optimise production processes from design to delivery and assist the general manager where needed. You will work closely with global and regional teams, ensure quality and safety, and support continuous improvement across all stages of manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate customer design and technical documentation
  • Design, validate, and optimise production processes
  • Prepare accurate calculations, work documentation, and risk assessments
  • Write and maintain assembly, test procedures, and work instructions
  • Support production with tooling, process monitoring, and improvements
  • Analyse data to improve workflow, quality, and repeatability
  • Collaborate with global engineering on design and manufacturing
  • Drive 'make or buy' decisions and evaluate prototyping methods
  • Manage resources and coordinate with leads on daily/weekly priorities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Assist the General Manager and lead a small manufacturing team

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong SolidWorks, ERP, and MS Office skills
  • Technical education (BTEC Level 3, HND, Foundation Degree, or Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
  • Strong analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and across remote teams
  • Experience in dynamic, growing environments handling varied responsibilities
