This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations Analyst to join a thriving banking client as they grow their regulatory reporting team.

Title: Trade & Transaction Reporting

Location: London Canary Wharf — hybrid (2 days in the office, with home working)

Employment type: Permanent, salary £90-110,000 plus pension and bonus

Focus: EMIR regulatory reporting; knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR/MiFIR II and SFTR is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on analyzing and ensuring the accuracy of regulatory reports, including reconciliations and error investigations.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory communications and updates across EMEA regulators related to trade and transaction reporting (EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR).
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of gap analyses, workflows, and technical requirement documents.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical implications for specific processes and systems, with a focus on EMIR regimes that UK investment firms may face.
  • Support the capital markets book and work with the team to implement improvements in reporting processes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience producing gap analyses/requirements, workflows, and technical requirements documentation.
  • Working knowledge of EMEA regulatory requirements and the banking products affected, with prior experience in regulatory analysis and business requirements documentation.
  • Knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR and/or SFTR regulations is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze current and future regulatory requirements and translate them into practical implications for processes and systems.
