Job Description
We have a current opportunity for a Trade Support Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Dublin.\\n\\nCandidate will have a conceptual understanding of how a Interest Rate Swap is priced, Taylor Series, Valuation, Risk & PnL, have an undrstanding of PNL Explain, Unexplained PnL. Knowledge of Calypso, Murex, Aladdin advantageous.\\n\\n5-8 years of work experience in a Trade Floor Environment.\\nExperience with troubleshooting excel, managing add ins and quant library installs.\\nUnderstand excel formulas (nested) for complex data manipulation.\\nAble to trace workflows within Excel to find and resolve issues.\\nExposure to real time data feeds: Market data and BBG, Risk/Pvs, Trade Blotter\\nUnderstanding of the Rates trading business: Futures, Swaps, Xccy Swaps, FX forwards\\nGood Communication skills\\nQuickly understand from the trader what issues they are experiencing.\\nKeep the trader regularly updated with progress.\\nArticulate the observed issue to other IT teams to help resolve the issue if necessary.\\nArticulate the problem to the trader and how it was fixed.\\nWorks well in a high-pressure, fast environment.\\nBasic Python skills, able to debug code and suggest fixes for issues.\\nComfortable with Excel and coding in VBA\\nProvide 1st and 2nd line IT support for spreadsheet tools and macros used by trading, sales, and risk functions.\\nPossesses strong technical and/or business functional knowledge of systems, timing and dependencies.\\nConducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.\\n/B.A.
