I am currently supporting a London Markets Insurance Client who are looking for a Senior BA to join their team on an 18 Month piece of work supporting their Insurance Platform Replacement programme. You will be required to go into the London office 2-3 days a week and our client can pay up to £650 per day inside IR35 via an Umbrella.
Experience Required:
- Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with business units to understand their strategic goals and deliver IT solutions that align with both short- and long-term business objectives.
- Requirements Analysis & Documentation: Lead the analysis of business needs across the value chain, documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements using tools like user stories, UML diagrams, and gap analyses.
- Project Leadership & Methodologies: Take a lead role in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall projects, supporting project managers to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery using standardised methodologies like One Essentials.
- Solution Design & Architecture Alignment: Translate business demands into system specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and contributing to a resilient, automated, and future-proof IT landscape.
- Implementation & Change Management: Support system implementation, user testing, deployment, and training to ensure smooth adoption and benefit realisation of new systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, leveraging excellent communication and influencing skills to negotiate solutions and drive consensus.
- Industry Expertise & Leadership: Bring over 10 years of experience in Commercial Insurance IT projects, with deep knowledge of the London Market, MGAs, Lloyd's operations, and platforms like Guidewire, while also mentoring and guiding business analysts on complex initiatives.
