This is a new opportunity to join a thriving team to be a key voice in modernizing core data platforms across bronze, silver and gold layers, ensuring our data is reliable, scalable, secure, and ready to power advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and executive decision making.
We are transitioning from a traditional Azure Synapse-centric estate toward a Microsoft Fabric and OneLake-based architecture, embracing modern engineering patterns such as serverless storage, medallion design, Spark-based transformations, DBT-driven analytics engineering, and fully automated CI/CD.
This role can be based in either Glasgow or London as both offices have large data teams.
You will take joint ownership of existing data pipelines and analytics platforms, ensuring they are stable, performant, and trusted by downstream consumers.

Support and enhance ingestion and integration pipelines sourcing data from:
MS Dynamics CRM
MS Dynamics Finance & Operations
SAP SuccessFactors
A range of bespoke and third-party systems
Develop and maintain the Azure Synapse-based ingestion and staging layer, including:
Synapse Link integrations.
Synapse data pipelines for orchestration and movement.
