Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freelance PR Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our team. In this role you will support with implementing PR strategies, manage media outreach, and support day-to-day campaign activity for a range of exciting brands within the outdoor, sports, fashion and lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and VIPs across print, digital, and broadcast media to secure high-quality coverage.
- Assist with day-to-day client communications, ensuring exceptional client service and timely follow-up.
- Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, media alerts, and tailored pitches for targeted outreach.
- Manage press sample logistics and coordinate product send-outs to support media placements.
- Monitor, track and report on PR coverage, providing accurate insights and campaign performance reports.
- Support the planning, execution, and reporting of PR and influencer campaigns, including research, logistics, and administrative tasks.
- Provide general administrative support such as meeting notes and coverage reports to contribute to the success of client projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a PR agency or in-house communications team, ideally within the outdoor, sports, fashion or lifestyle sectors.
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks across different accounts.
