Overview
As a Yard Operative/Relief Class 1 Driver, you\βll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the yard. Here\βs what the job involves:
- Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard
- Safely receiving and organising deliveries β keeping the yard tidy and secure
- Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading β helping the team get deliveries out on time
- Making occasional local deliveries β when cover is needed (e.g. holidays or absences)
- Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures
