Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join us at Lloyd Worrall Newcastle!
Lloyd Worrall has been supplying the building industry with architectural hardware since 1946. We serve sectors including health, education, commercial, retail, and leisure through consultation, specification, and end-user interaction. Our qualified staff guide customers on suitable solutions for their projects.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will identify, develop, and close sales opportunities by building external customer relationships and providing technical support. Working in one of our depots, you’ll contribute to excellent customer service and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Target architects and develop relationships to specify architectural ironmongery, door sets, balustrades, and security products/access control
- Communicate with customers about project details: budget, timescales, product requirements, alternatives, competition
- Engage with decision-makers to influence project decisions
- Compare competitor quotes and value engineer solutions
- Deliver CPDs to architects to promote Lloyd Worrall’s services and expertise
- Identify opportunities at wider group, regional, or national levels and coordinate with line management
