We're looking for a Counter Sales Person to join the team at our Ruthin branch. Our sales people thrive on great conversations, building lasting relationships, and driving branch success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in the branch or yard, providing expert advice.
  • Create tailored solutions – prepare quotes, follow up on enquiries, and develop leads.
  • Keep things running smoothly – manage essential admin efficiently.
  • Offer guidance with up-to-date product knowledge to help customers find the best materials.
  • Enhance shopping experience – maintain well-stocked, inviting displays.
  • Collaborate across the branch with colleagues, including yard and counter sales, to support the team.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Previous retail or sales experience.
  • Strong product knowledge and background in a builders' merchant environment is an advantage.
  • Strong time-keeping, organisational skills, clear communication, and attention to detail.
