Plant & Tool Hire Driver Fitter (Class 2) – Braintree

About the Role
Our Driver Fitters play a key role in ensuring hire equipment is delivered, collected, and distributed safely and efficiently. Based at one of our branches, you will work in a team‑focused environment, providing outstanding service and getting the job done right.
Responsibilities
- Check kit and vehicles regularly, ensuring everything is safe, operational, and correctly recorded.
- Maintain the workshop tidy and look after the hire equipment at the branch.
- Transport equipment, handling deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Support stock checks and provide assistance to teammates as required.
What You’ll Bring
Class 2 licence and a positive attitude. Mechanical aptitude, minor repair skills, and an ability to keep equipment ready for customers are a plus.
