We are looking for a Warehouse/Yard Operative to join our team at Huws Gray Southwark Partnering Store (SE16 2DB). Working hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 17:00. If you’re in a trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you may already know us. We’re part of the Huws Gray Group and support local communities with building material needs across the UK.

As a Partnering Warehouse/Yard Operative you will help keep our warehouse and yard areas well‑maintained, ensuring stock is easily accessible for our van drivers and sales team. You will be part of a customer‑focused team that delivers reliable service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a well‑kept stock area in the warehouse and yard.
  • Control incoming deliveries and support van drivers with loading vehicles for outgoing deliveries.
  • Highlight any low stock levels to management to keep good inventory levels.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and administration from deliveries.
Qualifications
  • A background in warehousing or a related role is desirable.
  • Side‑loader experience is a bonus.
