You'll be loading and unloading timber products onto lorries, making sure everything's handled with care and accuracy. This role keeps you busy and involved in the day-to-day action - that involves planning how to load up in the best way to reduce any risks. If you're someone who takes pride in doing the job right and keeping safety front and centre, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing: Safely load timber onto delivery vehicles, making sure everything's secure and ready for the road Use manual handling techniques and kit like side loaders to get the job done Check loading notes to make sure the right items and quantities are going out Keep the loading area clean, tidy and organised Help out with general yard tasks like moving stock, stacking timber and keeping things neat Chat with drivers, yard teammates and supervisors to make sure everything's on track Stick to health and safety rules and wear the right PPE Flag any damaged goods or safety concerns straight away We're happy to explore flexible working options.
