Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Irthlingborough.

The Salesperson will engage directly with customers in the branch, providing product advice, quotations, and solutions that meet the needs of both trade and DIY customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include serving customers at the counter and over the phone, processing orders and payments, following up on leads, and supporting the wider team to achieve sales targets.

The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building materials and related products, ensuring merchandising and stock displays are presentable, and collaborating with colleagues in logistics and operations to deliver excellent service.

The Salesperson will contribute to a safe, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand customer needs.
