We are looking for a HGV Driver/Service Technician to join us at Hirebase Wellington! At Hirebase we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality and professional hire service to our customers. Our teams of highly competent, experienced and friendly staff work closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the latest branded products available. It’s our people that make our business great, so we make it our priority to provide the best up to date training to ensure our colleagues can offer expert advice and support.
We rely on our HGV Drivers/Service Technicians to complete safe delivery, collection and distribution of hire equipment using company vehicles. Working in one of our depots you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s what you can expect to do as a HGV Driver/Service Technician with Hirebase:
- Carry out appropriate equipment and vehicle checks on a routine basis
- Serve customers efficiently, safely and to the company policies and procedures
- Deliver, collect and distribute our hire equipment using company vehicles
- Follow and maintain company transport policies
- Carry out basic maintenance of the hire fleet - for example oil and filter changes
