Yard Operative Apprentice – Huws Gray (Basildon) - Keep Things Moving Behind the Scenes! If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group and we’re made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few. Up and down the UK, our branches are serving and supporting our local communities with all their building material needs, but we couldn’t do this without the right people, so why not join us?
A Builders Merchant sells building and construction materials to a range of different customers, from long-standing builders with years of experience in their trade to the do-it-yourself DIYers. You’ll be working with people who love what they do and care for each other. Our branch teams are a bit like a family, there’s plenty of fun and you’ll be a key member of the branch.
You will get to learn the day-to-day operations of the branch, and you'll get to learn all about sales and administration, as well as delivering excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a customer-focused environment, who enjoys problem-solving and has the motivation to progress in their career.
Here’s a Quick Overview Of Some Of The Things You Can Expect To Do As a Apprentice With Huws Gray Basildon:
- You’ll be given the training to fully contribute to the day-to-day operations of the branch.
- You'll complete a Level 2 Supply Chain & Warehouse qualification.
- You will need to commit to and maximize the use of the training and support from the training provider.
