We are looking for a Yard & Warehouse Operative to join us at Huws Gray Law!
If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group, made up of brands including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Our branches across the UK serve and support local communities with building materials, and we need the right people to help us do this.
Our Yard & Warehouse Operatives are responsible for maintaining the yard and warehouse, serving customers, and providing all they need for their projects. Working in our branches, you’ll be part of a team committed to excellent customer service and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving customers in the yard and advising on products for their projects
- Supporting incoming deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining tidiness in line with Health & Safety guidelines
- Ensuring all stock is accounted for and reporting discrepancies to management
- Preventing loss and theft by being security conscious
We value individuality and provide comprehensive training and tools to help you succeed. A forklift license is advantageous but not essential.
