We’re looking for a Senior Sales Person with detailed knowledge of building materials, to join the team at our Wrexham branch. In this role, you’ll be a key part of our branch’s success by building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, supporting your teammates, and helping to grow sales and profitability.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building connections – chatting with customers in person or over the phone, using your experience in the industry to give helpful, confident advice.
  • Creating tailored solutions – putting together quotes, following up on enquiries, and turning leads into real opportunities, using your understanding of what materials work best for different jobs.
  • Keeping things running smoothly – handling day to day admin without any fuss and keeping everything on track.
  • Offering guidance – helping customers choose the right products for their projects by drawing on your up to date knowledge.
  • Enhancing the shopping experience – keeping displays tidy, well stocked, and easy for customers to browse so they can quickly find the materials they need.
  • Collaborating – working closely with the team across the branch, including the yard and counter, using your product knowledge to help customers get the right materials first time.

What you’ll bring:

You’ll have experience in a builders’ merchant or a sales‑focused role, or you’ll be a confident sales professional with strong knowledge of building materials and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Experience leading or supporting a team would be a real advantage. The right person will also bring strong time keeping, natural organisation and clear communication skills. You’ll be a great listener, show genuine enthusiasm and maintain sharp attention to detail.
