We’re on the lookout for a Yard/Warehouse Operative/Relief HGV Driver to support our team at Scunthorpe. This is a varied and active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a practical team, and helping customers get exactly what they need to get the job done.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard
  • Safely receiving and organising deliveries - keeping the yard tidy and secure
  • Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading - helping the team get deliveries out on time
  • Making occasional local deliveries – when cover is needed (e.g. holidays or absences)
  • Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures

What you’ll bring:

You don’t need to be an expert to get started – we’ll show you the ropes. What really matters is that you’ve got a can-do attitude and you’re happy to step in and help wherever it’s needed. You’ll need a Class 2 licence for this one, and if you’ve got a forklift licence too, that’s a nice extra – but it’s not a must-have.
