Van Driver/Stock Controller to help keep things running smoothly.
You’ll be the go-to person forkeeping track of stock, making sure deliveries are on point, and helping everything move efficiently across the site.
What You’ll Be
Doing
- Keeping stock records up to date andaccurate andcarrying out regular stock checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Carrying out regular van stock checks, auditsand sorting out any mismatches.
- Delivering stock to our customers, using our branchvan
- Stock ordering and management of stock levels and profiles
- Working closely with theteam to keep stock moving smoothly and on time.
- Updating inventory systems and pulling together reports when needed.
- Spotting and flagging any issues like missing items, damage, or stock errors.
- Helping plan what needs reordering and chatting with suppliers to get it sorted.
- Keeping the stock area tidy, safe, and well-organised.
- Supporting safe working practices when handling stock.
- Supporting the wider team in day-to-day tasks
We are looking for someonewho’s confident with stock control andinventorysystems andideally someone with experience in a similar environment .
You’llneed a good head for numbers, solid attention to detailand be comfortable using inventory software and Microsoft Office.
Ifyou’resomeone who can stay organised, solveproblemsand work well both solo and with a team, you’llfit right in.
There is a driving requirement for this role, so you will need a full UK Driving Licence for this role and be comfortable to drive a company van.
