We are looking for a Stock Controller to join our team at Huws Gray Birmingham West Partnering (B4 7BA). We’re looking for an organised Stock Controller to help keep things running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping track of stock, making sure deliveries are on point, and helping everything move efficiently across the site.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keeping stock records up to date and accurate and carrying out regular stock checks to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Carrying out regular van stock checks, audits and sorting out any mismatches.
  • Stock ordering and management of stock levels and profiles.
  • Working closely with the team to keep stock moving smoothly and on time.
  • Updating inventory systems and pulling together reports when needed.
  • Spotting and flagging any issues like missing items, damage, or stock errors.
  • Helping plan what needs reordering and chatting with suppliers to get it sorted.
  • Keeping the stock area tidy, safe, and well-organised.
  • Supporting safe working practices when handling stock.
  • Supporting the wider team in day-to-day tasks.

We are looking for someone who’s confident with stock control and inventory systems and ideally someone with experience in a similar environment. You’ll need a good head for numbers, solid attention to detail and be comfortable using inventory software and Microsoft Office. If you’re someone who can stay organised, solve problems and work well both solo and with a team, you’ll fit right in.
