We are looking for a Area Sales Manager to join us at Huws Gray, covering Newcastle, Gateshead & Sunderland!

As an Area Sales Manager you’ll be part of our strong external sales team, out on the road driving sales and promoting our wide range of products from across our businesses. Customer service is at the core of what we do, so you will be looking for opportunities to continually develop this experience within your area.

- To work closely with our customers, key stakeholders & suppliers on a day-to-day basis tomaximise customer opportunities, grow and maintain relationships and deliver excellentcustomer service.
- To be responsible for all customer activity within a defined area, whilst managinga portfolio of accounts across an agreed area.
- To be tasked with finding and developing new profitable business into the area’s branchnetwork and the wider business.
- To gain an understanding of everything that is happening within the area, both in terms oflarge-scale construction projects and local market conditions.
- To add value to our customers businesses through activities such as project plans,supplier contacts and offering advice through your industry specific knowledge.
