We are looking for a Partnering Stores Manager to join our team at Huws Gray in Manchester! This role supports our new partnership with One Manchester, a housing association. If you’re in the trade or have tackled home improvement projects, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group, comprising brands like Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Our Partnering Stores serve a single customer, with stock to support their projects locally. These stores ensure customers get what they need, on time, every time. As a Partnering Store Manager, you will lead a small team to meet customer needs and supply the right products. You’ll work in a team committed to excellent customer service and completing tasks efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with customers to understand their requirements
- Identifying sales opportunities and offering advice and solutions
- Motivating the team to meet targets
- Making commercial decisions in line with senior management
- Ensuring branch compliance with legislation and company policies
