We are looking for a HGV Driver to join us at PDM Kilmarnock! PDM are Scotland’s leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across our network of 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves in our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who can provide technical assistance in offering best advice and solutions to our customers.
We rely on our HGV Drivers to make sure products get to our customers when they need them. You’ll be making sure our stock in the yard and warehouse is easily accessible to be picked, loaded, and delivered in our lorries. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as an HGV Driver with PDM:
- Provide an efficient and dependable delivery service to our customers
- Build great relationships with customers out on the road and represent our brand
- Keep up to date with all Health & Safety legislation and administration relating to your role (tachographs, training, delivery notes etc)
- Look after our vehicles, carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis
- Support with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard & warehouse is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost.
