Huttie Building Services is looking for an experienced and motivated Ventilation Service & Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, testing, and maintenance of ventilation systems, helping clients maintain safe, compliant, and efficient environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of ventilation systems, ductwork, extract systems, and air handling equipment
- Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on ventilation systems
- Carrying out inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and health & safety regulations
- Completing service reports and installation documentation accurately
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Requirements
- Previous experience in ventilation installation and servicing
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC and ventilation systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- CSCS Card
- IPAF and PASMA Certification
- Experience with commissioning and airflow balancing
- First Aid at Work
