Home based with UK travel
You'll support the co-ordination of our trials programme from start to finish, working closely with the Technical and Regional Teams to plan and execute protocols. Trials will be contracted out to CRO's, where you'll maintain a close working relationship to monitor and deliver results to set timeframes. The role is home based with travel to trial sites across the UK, and a monthly team meeting in Wittering.
What you'll be doing
- Overall management of our Regional Trials Centres (RTC), from protocol design with the Regional Teams to CRO co-ordination of the sites to data management at the end of the season
- Visiting RTC trial sites through the season and reporting findings
- Processing RTC post-harvest data to inform next season decisions
- Supporting the Development team with our small plot replicated trials programme – ARM protocol/trial creation, liaising with CRO's to manage data
- Updating workbooks as CRO data becomes available and sharing the results with associated sponsors
- Supporting the Technical Team with meeting and event management
What we're looking for
- Previous field trials experience
- Hands-on experience using ARM trial management software
- Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage your own time and priorities
- Good Excel and data skills, with a sharp eye for errors
- Confidence building relationships inside and outside the business
- Experience handling confidential data responsibly
