We’re looking for a driven, self-starting Farm Business Consultant to grow our presence across Cheshire and Lancashire. This is a role for a real go-getter who enjoys making new connections, building trusted relationships, and delivering practical, commercial advice on farm.
Operating in a varied role that will span across our farm business consultancy, Omnia (our digital farm management tool) and environmental teams, this role will suit someone with a breadth of knowledge, passion for digital tools and the desire to support farmers to operate effective, efficient and successful farming businesses.
The role:
- Proactively identify, win and retain clients across the region.
- Deliver farm business consultancy advice including budgets, cashflows, gross margins, business reviews, grant/SFI applications and strategic planning.
- Become the local Omnia Superuser—support customers to implement Omnia—from onboarding to confident day-to-day use.
- Work confidently across a range of agricultural businesses, tailoring advice to each enterprise.
- Partner with agronomy and wider teams to spot opportunities and add value for customers.
About you:
- Proven business development / client relationship experience.
- Previous experience in providing practical farm business consultancy advice.
- A passion for digital farming practices and a desire to become an Omnia expert.
- Experience across a variety of farming systems with the credibility to advise and influence farm decision-makers.
- Strong communication and organisation skills, with a commercial mindset and a “get it done” approach.
