Omnia TerraMap is recruiting multiple Field Technicians to join our team across the UK for the upcoming season. Working outdoors and in close collaboration with our agronomy and specialist service teams, you will be responsible for completing raw data scans and collecting soil samples that form the basis of our high-definition nutrient and texture maps for farmers. This is a fixed term seasonal role, running from early July through to the end of October. We are ideally looking for people based around Dorrington, Colchester, Swaffham (Norfolk) and Diss to support with mapping farms in the surrounding area.

The Role:

  • In-field mapping of UK agricultural soils using specialist equipment
  • Managing a schedule of allocated work
  • Maintaining good contact with farmers prior, during and after the service has been carried out
  • Maintain regular contact with the logistics team
  • To keep online tracking documentation up to date and accurate
  • Properly maintain and use equipment provided
  • Overnight stays possible when required

The Person:

  • You must have a clean full UK Driving licence
  • You must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone
  • Able to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail whilst working under pressure
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime

Experience:

  • Farming: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)
  • United Kingdom (required)
