We are looking for an Environmental Services Specialist to join our growing team, delivering environmental consultancy across agriculture. Northants / Beds (Home-based)
About the Role
Working with a variety of stakeholders including farmers, water companies and industry partners, you’ll deliver schemes, provide practical environmental advice and develop commercially focused solutions, while helping shape our service offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer & Project Delivery
- Deliver agri-environment schemes and provide practical, commercially focused advice
- Lead environmental and water quality projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Manage relationships with water companies, supply chain partners and industry bodies
- Commercial Growth
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth, spotting cross‑selling opportunities and having an active role in service development
- Represent the business externally and support the development of strategic partnerships
- Team Contribution
- Support and upskill agronomy teams through training and technical guidance
- Collaborate across the business to strengthen environmental service delivery
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong environmental and agricultural knowledge with excellent interpersonal and commercial skills.
- Hands on experience of SFI and Countryside Stewardship schemes
- Experience working with farmers delivering environmental schemes
- Understanding of commercial agriculture and farming systems
- Experience in water quality, catchment management, or similar programmes
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Commercial awareness with a proactive mindset
- Farming background or hands‑on agricultural experience
- Experience working with water companies or catchment partnerships
- Exposure to natural capital, biodiversity, or sustainability projects
