As a technically driven, market leader in the provision of agronomy advice across the UK, Hutchinsons are looking to strengthen our technical team with a Technical Manager, specialising in cereal disease management.
We’re looking for a highly knowledgeable individual with strong agronomic expertise in cereal crops, who is solution focused, delivering technical excellence and has exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of our technical cereal disease management strategy.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to drive innovation and practical solutions in cereal disease management.
- Maintain and build on our strong relationships with suppliers, research bodies and industry partners, ensuring Hutchinsons remain at the forefront of new disease management solutions.
- Provide technical support and be an active member of the wider technical team, sharing your knowledge and supporting wider team activities.
- Oversee the development of disease management trials and fungicide programmes.
- Represent Hutchinsons at events; gathering industry updates and insights to share with the team and where relevant deliver high quality presentations.
- Produce content for industry media and publications.
