Hours: 8 hour shift, 38 hour week

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rigger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and network equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and telecommunication infrastructure. The Rigger will work to ensure equipment is securely positioned and operational, adhering to safety standards and technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word etc.
- Rig Telecom structures according to job packs and specified processes including interpreting structure and kit requirements (antenna/combiners/MHA’s, RET motors, RRUs).
- Employ fault‑finding exercises in accordance with quality control sheets to determine suitability of the rigged structure for dispatch.
- Complete Asiccs using tablet device to record accurate information for handover packs.
Knowledge & Experience:
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
- Good interpersonal skills
- Advanced line sweeping certification and certification in all types of PCN rigging (advantage)
- Understanding of technologies such as L800/UG900 1800/2100/2600/3400 and knowledge of fibre (advantage)
- PIM certification (advantage)
- Ability to read compass/orientations EGN
- Ability to conduct quality checks
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Excellent observation of health and safety requirements
- Able to accommodate flexible working
- Clean current driving licence
