Purpose: To provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for our residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and independence are maintained at all times while working in line with Hutchinson Care Homes’ policies and procedures.
Main Duties:
- Assisting residents with personal care which includes getting dressed, washing and eating.
- Provide company to the Residents.
- Provide information to family members regarding care plans in a professional manner.
- Follow all infection control, safeguarding, and health & safety procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, or concerns immediately to management.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Be flexible to work across different care homes within the group when required.
- Ensuring the needs and wishes of the residents are met.
- Administer medication under supervision.
- Working with other health care professionals to provide a high standard of care.
- Attend all necessary training when instructed.
- Participate in any other duties detailed by management that may be considered relevant.
- Report and record any breaks or damages to your Manager/or Deputy Manager.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude when carrying out duties and be willing to put in an extra effort if an unexpected situation arises.
- To attend staff meetings as and when required.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
- You may be required to work in other homes in the business at short notice.
Administration Duties:
- Keep Residents Care records up to date and inform the staff nurse, Home Manager/Deputy Manager of any changes.
- Keep accurate, timely, and legible records of residents’ care and medical needs.
- Involvement with resident Care plans and keeping records up to date, accurate, meticulous and legible.
- Report any changes in residents’ health, wellbeing, or behaviour to the Nurse/Manager promptly.
- Record and report any damages or maintenance issues.

- At least 1 year experience working in healthcare.
