Job Description
- Comply with Infection Control Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment
- You may be required to work in other homes in the business at short notice to assist with staffing levels
- To ensure cleaning of all areas of the home are to the highest standard
- To organise deep cleaning duties when required
- Complete documentation as and when required
- Ensure cleaning and laundry supplies are stored safely and used effectively to minimise wastage
- Attend all necessary training
- Participate in any other duties detailed by management that may be considered relevant
- Report and record any breaks or damages to your Manager/or Deputy Manager
- Demonstrate a positive attitude when carrying out duties and be willing to put in an extra effort if an unexpected situation arrives
- Promote good housekeeping, in respect of health and safety and ensure that there is no neglect of property and ensuring a well maintained area of care
- Keep all cleaning store rooms neat and tidy as well as ensuring there is enough stock
- Order stock as and when required keeping in mind costs and budgets
- To attend staff meetings as and when required
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Administration Duties
- Keep cleaning records up to date and inform Manager/Deputy Manager of any change
