The Opportunity:
We are delighted to be supporting a leading global organisation in their search for an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team on a 4-month temporary contract based in Glasgow.
This is a key role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll support business-critical reporting and deliver insights that drive decision-making across international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS..
- Compile and analyse financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with accounting, audit, and business teams to gather necessary data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting systems, tools, and processes.
- Support internal and external audit requests, including documentation and reconciliations.
- Assist in implementing new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in financial reporting or MI role
Strong proficiency in Excel; Power BI or similar data visualisation tools highly desirable
High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex datasets
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a global, fast-paced environment
Available to start at short notice
