Hutcheon Mearns are recruiting a Deals Senior Analyst/Manager to work across Corporate Finance and Transaction Services to support the successful execution of M&A transactions. Supporting a rapidly growing professional advisory firm with a market leading corporate finance team in Scotland, we are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant into our Aberdeen based team. Consideration will be given to driven individuals with a proven track record of achievement, from a professional practice or corporate finance background.
Strong Excel skills are required and previous experience in a transaction-based role would be highly advantageous.
- Financial analyses and assessment of companies
- Generating models for company valuations and building company forecast models
- Analysing company performance on an absolute and relative basis
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- Supporting clients through due diligence processes – managing data sites and information provision
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of target companies, assessing key drivers, financial trends and risks
- Identify potential deal risks and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate financial exposure
- Develop clear, concise reports that summarise complex financial data into actionable insights for our clients
- Keep up to date with industry best practices, emerging market trends, and regulatory changes that could impact client transactions
