Job Description
Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged by our E&P client to source a Revenue Accountant on a 12 month contract. This role will be based in Aberdeen City Centre on a hybrid basis with flexible working hours and a competitive day rate. You will be responsible for providing support to the Asset Accounting and Performance Manager, providing Revenue Accounting support for all JV Assets (operated and non-operated) within the portfolio.

The Opportunity

- Accurate accounting and reporting of the company hydrocarbon revenue
- Stock reporting and over / under lift calculations across all operated and non-operated assets
- Preparing and issuing hydrocarbon sales invoices
- Prepare monthly accounting and reporting in line with company policies
- Monitor and control receipts of all revenue streams
- Liaising with hydrocarbon accounting to ensure accurate recording of monthly production
- Monthly DD&A calculation
- Monthly Revenue and Liftings reforecasting
- Assist in all transition matters in relation to asset acquisitions including integration of asset into all reporting and handover of data from seller
- Support the annual statutory audit
- Balance sheet reconciliations for all assigned balances per the matrix

Background and Experience

- Previous experience of revenue accounting in an E&P company
- Qualified accountant, either by professional body or by experience at an equivalent level
- Experience of SAP S4 Hana (advantage)
- Strong accounting knowledge
