Our client, a well-established organisation based in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. This is a full-time, office-based role reporting directly to the Payroll Controller.
About the Role
Working as part of a highly experienced team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of a weekly payroll for approximately 1500 employees, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Full end-to-end processing of monthly and bi weekly payroll
Maintain and update employee records
Manage joiner and leaver administration
Handle absence recording and management
Produce employee access cards
Generate payroll and reporting data for managers
Deal promptly and professionally with employee payroll queries
Build and maintain strong working relationships
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing is essential
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Clear and confident communicator – both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and approachable attitude
