This iconic business is seeking an experienced Financial and Management Reporting Manager to embark on a Senior Finance career filled with unique opportunities, outstanding culture and no end of exciting prospects.
The Role:
The successful appointee will be responsible for leading a team that has end to end accountability for core finance processes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, people management and operational oversight. You will be responsible for managing the preparation, analysis and completion of Management Performance Reporting and Board Reporting packs for our Finance Directors, CFO and shareholders. In addition, you will also be responsible for Finance Support tasks, including but not limited to subledger reviews, balance sheets, budget and rolling forecast co-ordination. The role will work collaboratively with leaders and colleagues to deliver effective and efficient services and to lead and coach their teams to deliver operational excellence. Additionally, you will play a key role in influencing, shaping and driving service delivery operational and strategic improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Recording, summarising and reporting transactions from our core processes.
- Managing the delivery of our Management Performance and Investor Reporting.
- Service Delivery presentations to senior stakeholders/customers.
- Business scorecard performance management to drive high performance and good customer service.
- Working closely with internal/external audit to close off requests in a timely fashion.
- Leading a team of four, motivating and developing the team whilst ensuring key deliverables are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with experience of Management and Financial Reporting. The client will consider applications from strong QBE accountants or those who are Part Qualified.
- Skilled at transforming financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proven managerial experience of leading, coaching and motivating teams.
- Strong communications skills with a demonstrable track record of excellent stakeholder engagement to non-finance audiences, and ability to influence recommendations and decisions.
- Evidence of having worked with internal and external auditors.
