Overview of the Credit Control Team Leader role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will oversee the credit control team, collaborating with finance and sales to manage customer accounts, drive collections, reduce overdue debt, and support the company’s financial health.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of credit controllers to achieve and exceed monthly collection targets.
- Manage the credit assessment process for new and existing customers, ensuring credit risk is controlled.
- Drive process improvements to streamline collections and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex billing issues and escalate critical accounts as needed.
- Provide regular reporting on debtor performance, aging analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Support the team with hands-on assistance in managing high-value accounts and resolving challenging cases.
About You:
- Proven experience in credit control within a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing a team.
