Hutcheon Mearns are looking to add an Accountant to our Outsourced Finance Team on a permanent basis. Hutcheon Mearns is a successful and growing integrated finance business, focusing on people and business advisory. With our growing outsourced finance offering, we are building a strong client base as we continue to outperform the status quo through our unique range of innovative and value-adding services.

You will be based in Edinburgh with hybrid working on offer. We can offer a competitive salary, an excellent working environment and great benefits.

The Opportunity

The Accountant will provide support to our Outsourced Finance team and growing client base. Within this role you will be exposed to a wide range of duties including producing Management Accountants, statutory accounts, VAT returns and assisting with the transactional whilst gaining experience in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Background and Experience

You will have previous experience in a similar role, experience working in practice would be preferred but is not essential. You will have good communication skills, be able to use initiative and have good attention to detail. Strong IT skills and competency using MS Office is key to this position.
