Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment have been engaged to source a Management Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This role is based in Peterhead with hybrid working and flexibility around hours. This is an excellent role in a growing business where you will work closely with the Finance Director.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Assisting with the year end statutory accounts preparation
Candidates must have previous management accounting experience, in addition to experience with standard costing ideally.
The Opportunity
- Prepare and report on monthly management accounts including explanations of variances compared to budgets and forecasts
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Assist with year end statutory accounts preparation
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
- Prepare weekly cashflow reporting
- Prepare weekly currency hedging report
- Cover other finance functions as required
Background and Experience
