Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in St Andrews for a temporary Accounts Assistant, for a 6 - 12 months fixed term contract. The role is part-time hours, ideally working a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to support the finance team. This position will pay up to £30,589 full-time equivalent depending on experience.
The Opportunity
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Process sales and purchase ledger transactions
- Maintain customer and supplier account records
- Account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end as required
- Carry out data cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy
The Candidate
- You will have previous experience in an accounts administration role in a finance office
- Previous experience of working Sales and Purchase ledger
- You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- You will have working knowledge of Finance systems
- You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Understanding of accounting principles
