Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment have been engaged by our oil and gas client to source a Joint Venture Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This role will be based in Aberdeen City Centre on a hybrid basis (three days office/two days home) with flexible working.
The main purpose of the role is accountability for the various aspects of JV accounting and cost control processes. The role will involve close interaction with the Operations team and the Operating Partners. To apply, you must have previous JV accounting experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
The Opportunity
Preparing the JV budgets and reforecasts
Provide information to Finance Manager and assist with the internal annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes
Prepare monthly JV billings and partner reports
Act as focal point for JV partners and Operating partners
Apply, develop and maintain appropriate financial control processes and procedures
Provide information to Finance Manager and assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting pack
Provide ad hoc financial information or analysis
Preparation of monthly balance sheet
