Hutch is looking for a Senior Game Analyst to join the team in London. We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about data and driven by insights. You should be a strong collaborator and an excellent communicator, able to break down complex data and concepts in a clear and accessible way for a variety of audiences. You’ll be working closely within the game teams to analyse and offer predictions for our existing and in development games, helping build analytical strategy for the products and contributing to their further success.
Responsibilities
- By proactively collaborating with the game team, enable them to make data driven decisions through data analysis.
- Build statistical models to analyse user behaviour, predict future developments and automate processes.
- Forecast game’s performance and collaborate with the game team in order to refine said forecast, overseeing its feasibility, accuracy and correct reporting.
- Estimate the impact of new features and analyse retargeting, reactivation, AB tests, CRM activities.
- Look into various aspects of user behaviour, e.g. churn, conversion, LTV.
- Work with the marketing team to test and optimise retargeting/reactivation campaigns.
- Consult with other game analysts to identify analytical opportunities across all our games, fostering collaborative culture.
Requirements
- A proven track record of Game Analytics working on free to play games.
- Your analysis has led to tangible and quantifiable improvements in the games you worked on.
- Experience with AB testing and data-driven decision making.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python & Excel.
- Excellent visualization, presentation and communication skills.
- You are a fast learner and are happy to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience with statistical and ML model creation and deployment.
- Experience in regular game performance forecasting for FP&A purposes.
- Experience/exposure to marketing & Performance marketing analytics.
- Experience in using tools such as Amplitude, Tableau or Looker.
