Hutch is looking for a Senior Product Manager to spearhead feature development and roadmap delivery for our flagship motorsports title - F1 Clash. As we strive to be the #1 mobile racing game in the world, we need a product leader who excels at turning high-level strategy into high-impact player experiences that drive long-term business value. In this role, you will lead cross-functional Feature Pods, owning the lifecycle of new systems and mechanics from ideation through to global launch. Your primary mission is to evolve the game’s core experience, integrating industry best practices to ensure our features are as commercially successful as they are engaging.
Responsibilities
- Roadmap Delivery & Feature Leadership
- Feature Pod Ownership: Lead multidisciplinary teams (Design, Engineering, Art) to conceptualize, build, and ship major game features that move the needle on core engagement and performance metrics.
- Problem-First Discovery: Work with our Analytics team to conduct deep-dive game analysis to identify "friction points" and core product problems. You will ensure our roadmap delivers targeted solutions to a specific player or business needs.
- Specs & Goal Setting: Author comprehensive product specs and define clear success metrics for every feature, ensuring the team is aligned on how new systems contribute to the overall health of the business.
- Impactful Rollouts & Experiments: Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new features, ensuring they roll out successfully including any experiments or optimisations.
- Shared Operations: Work as part of the PM team to oversee Releases, Game Health, UA, Forecasting, and Small Feature support.
- Performance Analysis: Actively monitor post-launch performance, using data to validate whether features solved the intended "core problems" and iterating rapidly if they didn’t.
- Best Practice Integration: Use player data, market trends, and competitive analysis to ensure new features utilize modern F2P mechanics and industry-leading design patterns.
Requirements
- Proven Senior Experience: A strong track record as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in the free-to-play mobile space, specifically leading the delivery of complex features or game systems.
- Feature Lifecycle Mastery: Expert knowledge of the full development cycle—from initial discovery and wireframing to live performance monitoring and iteration.
- Pod Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment, with the ability to motivate developers and maintain a high bar for quality.
- Balanced Product Mindset: The ability to understand how feature design impacts both the player experience and the wider business performance.
- Analytical Rigour: Highly proficient in data analysis and A/B testing; able to extract actionable insights from complex data sets to inform product decisions.
- Live Ops Literacy: A strong foundational understanding of F2P live operations, seasonal cycles, and how live content interacts with permanent features.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex product concepts and roadmap trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Experience leading "Meta" systems, social/competitive features, or progression mechanics.
- Background in midcore games or titles with deep systems.
- Advanced experience with SQL, Amplitude, or Tableau.
- A genuine passion for Formula 1®, motorsports, or competitive gaming.
