Responsible for working as part of the UK Sales & Marketing team to drive online sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences across digital channels. Reporting to the Channel Sales Manager for Online and the Marketing Manager, this role focuses on developing and optimizing content for customer product detail pages, supporting marketing campaigns across all online and offline touchpoints, and ensuring smooth operations with a customer-focused approach to the online channel. This is an excellent first or second sales and marketing opportunity, offering broad exposure to both trade operations and marketing in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- An integral part of the sales team ensuring smooth operational performance for key online accounts.
- Assist with continual digital content and asset management across multiple UK online retailers, working in close contact with the wider brand and marketing teams.
- Digital marketing: assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, and content campaigns.
- Ensure GARDENA and Flymo website information is up-to-date & seasonal campaign information is uploaded.
- Market research: to understand consumer behavior, preferences, competitor insights and trends.
- Content creation: generate engaging content & ideas - buying guides, how to, hints & tips, product & gardening articles.
- Aid in the early development of key online retailer listings.
- Daily Supporting Channel Sales Manager in coordinating online trading strategy.
- Assisting with B2B project goals and objectives.
- Work closely with UK Sales and Marketing, Product Managers, and wider Gardena Divisional Team.
- Role is hybrid office/home based but with occasional travel.
