We are looking for a Service Engineer (SE) to join our growing aftersales and service team, reporting to the Service Centre Manager – South.
Based in our Thurrock service centre, this is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of all plant and machinery associated with the Husqvarna Construction product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workload and maintain high levels of customer service, including administrative duties and team objectives.
- Have a working knowledge of industry standards, product details, and company services.
- Read and interpret electronic and hydraulic drawings.
- Provide exemplary customer service, maintaining relationships and resolving concerns professionally.
- Work with the Service Centre Manager to ensure adherence to industry regulations and laws.
- Resolve service problems, improve service methods, and increase productivity.
- Ensure standards are met and repair work is carried out effectively and thoroughly.
- Interface with internal teams and external customers to deliver solutions.
- Possess a valid driving license.
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, petrol, and diesel equipment, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot and respond to customer concerns.
- Be reliable and accountable for all job aspects.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management, adaptability, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
