Your Role at Husqvarna:
- Reporting into the Planning and Materials Manager, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Planner to create, maintain, and optimise production schedules.
- This role sits within the Planning team and is responsible for overseeing planning activities across the Mould Shop, Assembly, Battery, and Spares functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Planning team with reporting activities and performance tracking.
- Develop working knowledge of Sofco and JDE systems.
- Maintain and enhance the Battery Plant planning tool, liaising with the Moulding team to support plastics production.
- Support Assembly Build, Battery planning, and spare parts assembly scheduling to ensure build readiness.
- Coordinate production operations in line with material, labour, and equipment availability.
- Provide team cover where required to ensure continuity of planning activities.
- Monitor production progress and ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure system updates and changes align with overall business strategy.
- Participate in Engineering Change projects and plan resources to ensure project timelines are achieved.
- Proactively identify, address, and resolve production issues to minimise delays.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply planning.
- Strong Excel and ERP/MRP system experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing capacity planning.
- Ability to analyse data and make planning decisions.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Problem solving and decision making under changing priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to S&OP processes.
