We are looking for a highly experienced, analytical and commercially-minded Merchandising Manager to head up the Merchandising Team at Hush. You will be accountable for trading the plan through executing strategies that optimise product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Accountable for the performance of the Merchandising Function: Championing, developing and delivering a commercial strategy.
- Actively drive the performance of the Merchandising Function to be high performing, looking at ways to optimise existing processes.
- Owning the Merchandising critical path for all categories, from option planning to in-season trading.
- Accountable for setting seasonal sales plans by channel and by category as well as for Hush’s relationship with our external trading channels.
- Driving the agenda for weekly trade meetings and seasonal lessons learned meetings.
Data Insight and Analysis:
- Extracting key insights from complex data sets and leveraging these to drive decisions to improve business performance.
- Simplifying, collating and presenting quarterly channel performance reviews to the Senior Leadership Team, driving debate and discussion on lessons learned and opportunities to improve sales performance both in-store and online as well as compiling monthly trade decks to be shared with the Board.
Experience required:
- Experience at Merchandising Manager level within a fashion retail business.
- Experience working with multiple trading channels.
- Strong experience within a fast-paced, retail trading environment is critical.
- Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- Proven track record of delivering planned sales and margin targets.
- Commercially minded, able to identify, influence, track, react and develop opportunities to maximise performance now and in the future.
