About the role
Are you a newly qualified or finalist-level accountant looking to make a real impact? At Hush, we’re looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team and work at the very heart of our business. This is a high-profile, stakeholder-facing role where you’ll go beyond reporting to influence decisions, drive performance, and embed a culture of accountability across Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, and Operations.

What you’ll do
- As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll act as a key link between Finance and the rest of the business, supporting senior leaders with data-led insight and commercial challenge.
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting for key functions (Marketing, Operations, Retail).
- Acting as a trusted advisor to functional leads, helping shape decisions with robust financial insight.
- Monitoring trading and margin performance, providing recommendations, and supporting future season planning.
- Analysing marketing channel performance to drive efficiency (ROAS, CPO, customer metrics).
- Supporting weekly trading meetings, monthly strategic reviews, and holding stakeholders accountable for actions.
- Developing business cases for new initiatives, channels, and retail opportunities.
- Preparing board pack slides and performance commentary, including store-level profitability analysis.
What you’ll bring
- Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or finalist-level accountant, with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent communicator and storyteller, skilled at simplifying complex data and building trusted relationships.
- Highly analytical, with expertise in forecasting, scenario modelling, and performance management.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience using BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to deliver insights and drive decision-making.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and focused on delivering value beyond the numbers.
