Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and integration of our booking systems, powered by Seaware/Versonix. This role is a critical part of the Digital Products team, bridging business needs with development work while ensuring the smooth operation of the Seaware systems and future enhancements.
The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the flow of requests from internal stakeholders to our vendor, Seaware, and planning and delivering the integration work using internal resources. This position requires a strong technical understanding of booking/reservation systems ideally in the travel space, and prior experience with Seaware or similar platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the process for handling operational tickets and requests, working with CSC support, users, and super users to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Act as the system owner and primary point of contact for Seaware, overseeing vendor management and product performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across CSC, Commercial, Digital, IT, and other teams to ensure that the booking system aligns with overall business priorities.
- Monitor, measure and identify improvement opportunities to our web booking flow, in collaboration with our B2C web Product Manager.
- Close collaboration with Design, Development and Analytics colleagues to evaluate problems/request in a cross-functional manner.
- Provide regular feedback to the Digital & IT department and wider stakeholders to provide updates, engage in discussions and gather user feedback.
- Own and maintain up-to-date Confluence pages or centralized knowledge systems related to processes and documentation.
- Represent the Digital & IT teams in strategic discussions and decisions concerning the booking system.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience working in travel or related industries, with a focus on booking/reservation systems.
- Prior experience with Seaware or similar booking platforms is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodology and experience working in agile environments.
- An understanding of software development, delivery processes, and tools.
